OLIVER LEGION MEAT DRAWS

Oliver Legion meat draws every Saturday.

Doors open at 11:30.  Meat Draw starts at 3:00 p.m.
in the Canteen.  Get there early to get your favourite seat.

POOL

Free pool daily on challenging 5 x 10 table with 8 Ball, 9 Ball or snooker available.  There is a nine ball tourney which runs weekly all winter.  To sign up for that or any other pool questions call Brian at 250-498-7370.


DARTS

Come play darts on Mondays, 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.  It is a fun group, no experience necessary.  We have first time players, and instruction if you want it.  The format is random teams of 2 or 3.  Each week you are paired differently.

General Meetings

Third Tuesday each month, excluding July, August, and December.
Held in the Hall upstairs at 3:00 pm.

SPECIAL MEAT DRAW - Saturday, May 11, 2024:

Come help us celebrate 30 years of meat draws at the Oliver Legion this Saturday, with special appearance by the fabulous Lundin Brothers!  Ron and Rick Lundin were 2 of the founding members of our meat draws and they will be with us this Saturday to reprise their roles as meat draw hosts.

Join us for beverages, food, memories and fun this Saturday - and maybe win some meat or ????

We suggest you come early to choose your seats.  Tickets sales start at 2:30 with the first draw at 3:00. ALL WELCOME!

SPRING FLING - May 17th:   Dinner and Dance.  $25. 

Come enjoy barbequed hamburgers and hotdogs, with sides, and dance to the music of Marcel.  Doors open at 5:00.  Dinner at 6:00.
Tickets available at the bar, commencing April 12th.


Veteran's Luncheon - May 26th.  1:00 pm.  Doors open at noon.

The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 97 invites Oliver Canadian & Allied Forces and Reserve Veterans to its Annual Veteran's Luncheon in their honour.

The Veteran's Luncheon will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024 in the Legion Hall.  Doors will open at 12:00 with mix & mingle from 12:00-1:00.  Lunch will be served at 1:00.

Veterans, spouses, surviving spouses and caregivers - no charge.  All Oliver veterans are invited - you do not need to be a legion member.

For non-veterans, tickets are available in the canteen or phone 250-498-2383.  Limited seating.  Cost is $20.00 per ticket.
